Intel will pay huge royalties NVIDIA

 The world's largest chip maker Intel announced on the 10th, has agreed in the next 5 years to the graphics chip supplier Nvidia 1.5 billion paid royalties to both sides to resolve the proceedings. Some commentators believe that Intel is provoked by their own spending money settle a patent dispute.

Intel sued in February 2009, said Nvidia, Nvidia plans to produce the new chip set compatible with Intel's latest processors, Nvidia should be paying royalties to Intel. However, NVIDIA then countersued, saying the two sides had already agreed to get chipset technology patents, and that Intel is suppressed by the prosecution of the development of graphics processors to protect its decline in the central processor business.
